Privacy

This page describes how the UNICKMASK store at unickone.com uses information when you browse, order, or contact us.

Orders and support

Checkout collects the information needed to process your payment and deliver your order, including your name, email address, shipping address, selected products, and payment status. If you email us, we use your message and contact details to respond and resolve your request.

Payments

Stripe processes payments on its secure checkout page. Your full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by this storefront. Stripe also maintains payment and order records. See Stripe’s privacy policy for its practices.

Service providers

We use Vercel to host the website, Stripe to process payments, Meta for advertising measurement, Resend to send order confirmation and shipping emails, and Proton Mail for support. Information needed to deliver an order may be shared with suppliers and shipping providers. These providers may process information in countries other than where you live.

Browser storage

Your selected mask designs are saved in your browser so your bag remains available when you return. An essential checkout cookie connects this browser to its payment confirmation and expires after 24 hours. Hosting and payment services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and security logs, to operate their services and prevent fraud.

Advertising and measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to be interested. When you visit, Meta may receive information such as pages viewed, products added to your bag, checkout starts, purchases, your IP address, browser details, and Meta cookies. For completed orders we send Meta your email address, phone number, name, and shipping city, state, and ZIP code in hashed form so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. Meta uses this information under its own privacy policy. You can control ad personalization in your Meta ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser. We do not sell your information for money. To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, email us and we will stop sending your order information to Meta.

Visitor counts

While the store is open in your browser, it sends an anonymous signal every 30 seconds so we can see how many people are browsing. It includes a random ID that lasts only for that browser tab, the page you are on, how many masks are in your bag, how you arrived (for example from Facebook), your device type, and an approximate city and state derived from your connection by our hosting provider. We do not store your IP address, and each entry is deleted about two minutes after you leave. These counts are kept with Upstash, our database provider.

Keeping and requesting information

We retain order and support information as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns and disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. To request access, correction, or deletion of information, contact unickone@proton.me. Some records may need to be retained to meet those obligations.
